Sometime during the party my cousin, Doug, whose costume consisted of a long trench coat, some heavy boots, and a full mask, had, not surprisingly, had to use the bathroom. On his way back from the restroom he got fronted by hotel staff.
"Excuse me. Where are you going?" Gruff, serious. Hand on his arm. "Uh, I’m returning to the party." Pointing at the room. "My cousin just got married." "Oh.... Ok." They watched him closely as he returned to the Horizon Room. |
